यह आप सभी से परिक्रमा (नवद्वीप के) करने की वास्तविक प्रक्रिया को जानने का अनुरोध है। जो नये हैं, पहली बार आये हैं वे तो बिलकुल नहीं जानते हैं, उन्हें महाराज लोगों का अनुसरण करना होगा। हम महाप्रभु के आविर्भाव स्थली में आए है और पुनः हमें आने अवसर मिलेगा ये हम नहीं कह सकते।
यहाँ हमारे परम गुरुदेव (परम पूज्यपाद श्रील भक्ति सिद्धान्त सरस्वती गोस्वामी ठाकुर प्रभुपाद) और श्रील भक्ति विनोद ठाकुर द्वारा स्थापित विग्रह हैं। यह कोई साधारण स्थान नहीं है।
श्री जगन्नाथ दास बाबाजी महाराज ने अपनी अप्राकृत भक्तिमय नेत्रों से इस पवित्र स्थान को देखा, वे इस धरातल पर १५० वर्षों तक प्रकट रहे। इतनी वृद्ध आयु में, रासबिहारी बाबाजी उन्हें सिर पर टोकरी में उठाकर लाए थे। जब वे यहां पहुंचे तो उन्होंने ‘जय सच्चिदानंद गौर हरि’ के जयकारे लगाए और उन्होंने हवा में ऊंची छलांग लगाई और उद्दांत नृत्य किया। उन्होंने इस स्थान को अपनी आप्राकृत भक्तिमय आँखों से देखा।
श्रील भक्ति विनोद ठाकुर ने इस स्थान को प्रमाणित करने के लिए सभी प्रमाण एकत्र किए, यह महाप्रभु का आविर्भाव स्थली है। यहाँ उपस्थित विग्रह स्वयं प्रकट हैं। स्वयं श्रील भक्ति विनोद ठाकुर यहां हैं और लक्ष्मीप्रिया और विष्णुप्रिया देवी, पंचतत्व ,और अधोक्षज भगवान यहां निवास कर रहे हैं।
तो, नियमों के अनुसार हमें चार बार परिक्रमा करनी चाहिए। सभी कर रहे हैं, कुछ यहाँ जा रहे हैं और कुछ वहाँ जा रहे हैं, ऐसे घूमने से अधिक लाभ नहीं है। इस स्थान का बहुत महत्व है। यहां गौर-गदाधर भी हैं, इसलिए उनकी कृपा की प्रार्थना करते हुए सभी परिक्रमा कर रहे हैं। किन्तु हम यह नहीं समझते कि कुछ लोग परिक्रमा करते हैं और कुछ नहीं। इसलिए, हमें वैष्णव को देखकर ही उनका अनुसरण करना चाहिए।
The Deities at Yogapith
The eternal pastimes of Lord Chaitanya take place within Yogapitha and the circle of Mayapur, the circumference of which measures three and a half miles and the diameter measures just over one mile. Because the Panca-tattva are seated at the Yogapitha, it is the most glorious of all places.
This is a request to all of you to know the actual process for performing parikrama (of Navadvip). Those who are new and are visiting for the first time and absolutely do not know anything, they have to follow other devotees who are leading the parikrama. We have come to Mahaprabhu’s appearance place. When we will get the opportunity to come here next we cannot say.
Here there are deities installed by our Paramgurudev (Param Pujyapad Srila Bhakti Siddhanth Saraswati Gosvami Thakur Prabhupad) and Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur. This is not an ordinary place.
Srila Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj who performed his manifest pastimes in this world for one hundred and fifty years, saw this holy place with his transcendental loving devotional eyes. At such an advanced age, Rasbihari Babaji used to carry him in a wicker basket upon his head. When he arrived here he shouted, ‘Jai Sacinandan Gaura Hari!’ And he jumped high up in the air and danced ecstatically.
Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur collected all the evidence to show that Mahaprabhu performed his appearance at this place. The deity present here is self-manifest. The deity of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur is here and also of Laksmipriya and Vishnupriya Devi, the deities of Panchatattva, and Adhokshaja Bhagavan are residing here.
So, as per the rules we should perform four parikrama. I see that a few devotees are going here and a few are going there. By roaming like this, one will not get a greater benefit. This place has special significance. Gaur-Gadadhar also reside here. Seeking Their mercy, all of us should perform parikrama. We have to observe the ones who are leading us and follow them.
